The emissaries of the merciful Embers can be recognized by the masks they wear at all times. Although these masks vary in shape depending on the personality of the wearer, they are always gold in color. The emissaries of the benevolent Embers travel across the Flatlands from town to town and village to village, spreading the blessings of their Sovereign. Embers’ chosen ones claim to be able to decipher the fabric of destiny and read possible futures. Their masks conceal the faces of their wearers, making their intentions difficult to discern. They use their predictions to prove their superiority and invite believers to join them to benefit from their foresight. As for the others… the Elect of Embers sow orange plague in their wake…
