In the upper echelons, no one is unaware of the incident that occurred on Six before the Arches landed on Martian soil. The failure of the oxygen recycling system led to the deaths of thousands of first-class passengers, almost all of whom were affiliated to the Super-Phoenix project, carrying nano-robots trying to keep their host alive, saving primitive systems at the expense of the brain. These horrors then poured onto the surface of the planet, seeking refuge in the dark depths of the other Arks. With official information locked away in the ruling classes, even the soldiers sent to fight this scourge are mostly unaware that the major risk is not of dying but of being infected, with each nanobot infecting a healthy organism, turning it into a paragon of nightmarish survivors.<\/em><\/p>\n

Among the monsters that haunt sleepless nights and invite themselves into the horror stories of the evening, there is one that we hardly dare to name out loud. The name Mongoose is whispered with fear and would probably never be uttered if the colonists learned of its real existence. This extraordinary mutant is said to be the fusion of several bodies that have combined forces thanks to the prodigies of nano-robots, bringing in its wake a swarming pack of bloodthirsty creatures like an Alpha.<\/em><\/p>\n

Little is known about his appearance, except that his first major action took place near Camp Nowle, a military science section belonging to a branch of Santahanna. Mongoose’s brutality and resilience are chilling, but his greatest asset is unknown to all. If it were to be revealed, its secret would unleash a wave of panic. Mongoose is a shapeshifter, able to take on any appearance and blend in with the crowd.<\/em><\/p>\n
